We offer laboratory services in house and through Idexx referral laboratory. Our bloodwork machines will analyze your pet’s complete blood count, checking red and white blood cells and platelet counts. Our chemistry panel will check all of your pet’s organ functions, electrolytes, and blood sugar. Lab work is important in many situations including helping to diagnose the cause of your pet’s sickness or as an important screening for diseases. Lab work is also important for any pet that is going to undergoing anesthesia to make sure they are not anemic or have any underlying issues that would prevent them from processing anesthesia correctly. Yearly bloodwork on geriatric patients may help detect a disease process before pet's starts showing signs of that disease. 

A microchip is a small chip placed between the shoulder blades of your pet that contains a specific number registered to your pet. If your beloved family member were ever to get lost, any vet or animal shelter could scan their chip and be able to reunite you and your family member back together.
